Listening can feel like a forgotten skill sometimes.

Simple moments of conversation and connection still matter. There is something powerful about returning to the kinds of conversations we had before technology competed so heavily for our attention.

People want to feel comfortable being themselves. They want to feel accepted, understood, and connected to the people around them.

At our core, we may be more alike than we realize.

My Journey

Finding My Way Back to Myself

A moment when things no longer felt aligned.

There was a point in my life when I realized I had been pulled in many directions, caring for family, managing responsibilities, and keeping life moving forward for everyone around me.

I had become the glue holding everything together. From the outside, life looked full. But inside, something no longer felt aligned.

I was so focused on taking care of everything and everyone else that I had started to lose sight of myself in the process.

What I began to understand.

It wasn’t one dramatic moment that changed things. It was reflection and conversation that helped me see more clearly.

I began noticing the patterns I had carried for years, ways of responding, taking responsibility, and holding everything together that had once served me well.

Over time, I came to understand these were adaptive patterns  learned ways of coping shaped by expectations, experiences, and the roles I had taken on along the way.

And I began to see how easily those patterns can distance us from ourselves, our relationships, and what matters most.

What started to shift.

As I reconnected with my values and began using my voice more intentionally, my life started to move in a different direction.

What began as a personal journey of reflection and self-understanding became the foundation for everything I do today, writing, meaningful conversations, leadership work, and creating experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, their relationships, and what matters most.

How I Work

Connecting The Dots

uy 3 circle model

My work is not about quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. It is about slowing down, asking better questions, and connecting the dots between past experiences, present behaviours, and the choices we make today.

Our early experiences shape more than we often realize. They influence how we respond, how we lead, how we build relationships, and how we make decisions. Choices made years ago can continue shaping our lives in ways we may not fully see.

Through thoughtful questions and reflection, patterns begin to surface. People often reveal more than they realize through the words they choose, the reactions they have, and the decisions they make.

Listen. Reflect. Observe

Clarity begins with awareness.

A Little More About Me

Family & Fun

jana rob family 60

Outside of my work, family is at the centre of my life. Raising four daughters has taught me some of the greatest lessons about patience, responsibility, and what really matters.

Being part of a blended family with my husband Bob has taught me that we don’t have to share the same DNA to feel like family. Belonging is something we build, through trust, understanding, and showing up for one another.

I’m also a grandmother who loves to stay active, have fun, share good conversation, and enjoy a glass of wine with the people I care about most.

Over time, I’ve also come to feel a deep sense of calling in the work I do. My faith keeps me grounded and reminds me to stay open, listen closely, and trust that there is purpose in the paths we’re given, even when we don’t fully understand them yet.
